Evercoat PVA Mold Release - 8oz

Evercoat PVA Mold Release is a water-soluble liquid mold release that forms a smooth parting film, allowing a glossy finish on molded surfaces. This product promotes complete cure of Polyester Gel Coat.

How to Apply Evercoat PVA Mold Release

Mold Release is best applied by spraying, however, this product can also be applied with a soft bristle brush. 8 fl. oz. should cover approximately 20 sq. ft.

• Apply with a small orifice spray gun using 90-100 psi or an aerosol spray.
• Spray at a distance of 12-18".
• Apply a mist coat followed by a heavier full wet coat.
• If applying by brush, apply one full coat and allow to dry approx. 30-60 minutes before applying resin to mold.

Gel Coat Application

When used to promote the complete cure of Gel-Coat, do the following:

• Apply one full wet coat by spray or brush to the uncured gel coat surface.
• Allow gel coat to cure for 4-6 hours before removing mold release.

PVA Mold Release can be removed from mold or gel coat with water.
