    1 st of all the price is better than amazon and the shipping was fast. 2nd It doesn't like to be in extreme heat but it still works display gets a little wonky but all you gotta do is turn it off and on again battery lasts 3 days

    Very Compact and receivers local FM radio

    So far this handheld VHF has survived being rained on and sprayed with seawater. I keep it mounted on my PFD that I always wear. I bought the external mic/speaker that attaches top of PFD. No problem hearing any transmissions.
