Star Brite Liquid Electrical Tape
Star Brite is widely used for creating airtight, waterproof, and UV-resistant seals on irregular connections where standard tape might fail.
- Application: Features a convenient brush applicator built into the cap for precise, mess-free repairs.
- Formula: A vinyl-based formula (rather than rubber) that remains flexible from -50°F to +275°F and won't peel or unravel over time.
- Use Cases: Ideal for bilge pumps, outdoor exposed wiring, and protecting terminal connections against vibration.
- Cure Time: Dries to touch in about 10 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours.
- Options: Available in various colors (Black, Red, White, Green) for easy wire coding.
Ancor Premium Electrical Tapes
Ancor provides traditional and specialized tapes designed for the harsh marine environment.
- Premium Vinyl Tape: A 7-mil PVC tape rated for up to 600V and temperatures up to 220°F (105°C). It is UV and moisture resistant, performing well across a boat’s entire electrical system.
- Self-Fusing Repair Tape: Stretches up to 300% and fuses only to itself, creating a permanent air- and water-tight seal. It remains flexible from -60°F to 500°F, making it excellent for emergency repairs on hoses or wires.
