Unlike the standard primary emergency battery (model 1061), this version is specifically intended for routine, everyday use and can be recharged using the ACR SR203 Rapid Charger.

Usage Note
While this rechargeable battery is ideal for training and daily operations, GMDSS regulations often require a dedicated non-rechargeable Lithium Primary Battery (Model 1061) for emergency survival craft use. The 1061 model provides a longer runtime of up to 16 hours and has a 5-year replacement life.
