Fortress Marine Anchors
Fortress Marine Anchors are advanced pivoting fluke-style anchors engineered for durability and performance. Constructed from a high-tensile, corrosion-resistant aluminum-magnesium alloy, these anchors are notable for their exceptional lightness compared to traditional steel anchors. Despite their lighter weight, they offer outstanding holding power and are trusted by both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard.
Key Product Features:
- Lightweight Design: Fortress Marine Anchors weigh approximately half as much as comparable steel anchors. This lighter weight makes them easier to manage, which is especially beneficial for solo boaters and families.
- Holding Power: In various tests, Fortress anchors have demonstrated the ability to withstand pull loads that average more than 200 times their own weight.
- Adjustable Fluke Angles: The premium FX series features adjustable fluke angles. Users can select a 32° angle for sand or a 45° angle for soft mud, allowing them to optimize the anchor's performance based on the seabed conditions.
- Collapsible for Storage: Fortress anchors are designed for convenient storage. By removing only a few bolts, the entire anchor can be disassembled and stored flat in a Stowaway Bag.
- Lifetime Warranty: Fortress offers a hassle-free, 100% lifetime parts replacement warranty for their FX series anchors, ensuring peace of mind for boaters.
