Setup Instructions
The process for setting up the stand varies slightly depending on your fuel type:
- Deploying the Legs: Loosen the integrated center lock ring, unfold the three stainless steel legs until they fully extend, and tighten the lock ring down securely to freeze them into a stable tripod structure.
- For Charcoal Grills: You must utilize the adapter ring included with the stand. Place the adapter ring onto the stand to accommodate the threaded stud located at the bottom of the charcoal kettle.
- For Gas Grills: Unscrew the center insert ring from the stand assembly. Align the grill’s gas tube with the stand, thread the grill onto the base, and then insert and lock your gas regulator/venturi tube assembly directly through the stand opening.
Crucial Safety Warning
⚠️ Never use this stand on a moving vessel or boat deck. It is explicitly designed for flat, stable land surfaces like beaches or docks. It lacks the physical locks or rail clamps necessary to keep a hot grill secured against the pitching and rolling of rough water.
